Shenzhen Titan Smart Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (“Titan Smart Energy”), a China-based energy storage technology company, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Faradigm Ultracapacitors Pvt. Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of Aartech Solonics Limited, to explore strategic cooperation in advanced energy storage solutions and localized manufacturing opportunities in India.
The proposed collaboration brings together Titan Smart Energy’s expertise in energy storage technology and manufacturing with Faradigm and Aartech’s industry experience, market presence, and planned manufacturing infrastructure in India. The initiative aims to explore solutions for the growing needs of commercial, industrial, and other energy storage applications in the Indian market.
The initial scope of cooperation will focus on Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP)-based Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), with capacities ranging from 100 kWh to 5 MWh.
Potential applications include commercial and industrial (C&I) energy storage, as well as integrated solutions combining solar power, diesel generators, and battery storage.
Both parties will also explore opportunities in manufacturing, assembly, and technology licensing to support the development of energy storage solutions suited to India’s market requirements. Potential utility-scale projects remain under review.
Faradigm’s planned manufacturing facility at the Renewable Energy Manufacturing Cluster in Mohasa-Babai, Madhya Pradesh, is expected to provide a potential foundation for future cooperation in localized manufacturing and advanced energy technologies. According to Faradigm’s announcement, the facility is planned to commence operations in FY 2027–28.
Through this proposed collaboration, Titan Smart Energy aims to explore opportunities to combine its energy storage technology and manufacturing capabilities with local resources and market knowledge, supporting the potential development of energy storage solutions in India.
